Newbury homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Newbury, NH job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Commercial Roofing crew we send to Newbury.
Every lead technician we send to a Newbury property carries current Newbury, NH licensing and full insurance, and we'll produce that paperwork before you ask twice.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Every lead installer carries current Newbury, NH credentials.
Storms don't wait for office hours, so our on-call line doesn't either.
Every price is itemized, not eyeballed over the phone.
Crews dispatched from within Newbury, NH, not another region entirely.
Most emergency calls we get trace back to a smaller sign that went unnoticed for weeks or months.
The earlier one of these signs gets a proper look, the smaller the repair usually stays; waiting rarely makes a roof problem cheaper to fix.
If the water coming off your downspouts looks gritty, the shingle surface is thinner than it should be.
A cupped shingle traps moisture instead of shedding it, which speeds up decking rot underneath.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
Rooms that run noticeably hotter than the rest of the house often trace back to roof or attic issues.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Newbury job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Read through the categories and you'll usually recognize your own roof problem in one of them — that's intentional, since we scope calls the same way we've organized this list.
When wind or hail rips open a section of roofing, we tarp it fast to stop water intrusion, then schedule the permanent fix right behind it.
Our residential scope covers shingle repair, full reroofs, ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing fixes.
Commercial roofs run different membrane systems entirely, and our crews are trained specifically on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
Ice-dam prevention, dormer flashing, and unusual roof pitches get handled by our senior technicians specifically.
We keep this process the same whether it's a single shingle repair or a full Newbury tear-off, because a predictable process is part of what makes a stressful roof problem manageable.
Call +1-844-212-9199, describe the issue, and dispatch routes it to the nearest available Newbury crew.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
An itemized estimate is delivered before any work starts, covering materials, labor, and cleanup.
A final walkthrough confirms everything matches the agreed scope.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
Crews based in Newbury, NH reach Newbury faster than out-of-area companies quoting a multi-week wait.
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Certifications stay current so material warranties remain valid after installation.
We'd rather send a crew back for a small fix than leave a homeowner unsure.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
Our technicians explain their reasoning so you're deciding with full information.
Every job closes with a written workmanship guarantee, separate from whatever the material manufacturer already covers — if something's wrong, we come back and fix it.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
If you ever need to use the guarantee, the process is a phone call, not a fight.
